Helen Hooker with Rosemary Robinson<\/strong><\/p>\n and the Helenettes Recorder Ensemble<\/strong><\/p>\n In concert at 7.30 pm on Saturday 18 June 2016<\/strong><\/p>\n St George\u2019s Church, Church Green, Kencot, GL7 3QX<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n The first Helen and the Helenettes concert took place in 2014, and was a musical success story, which attracted a large audience. We decided there and then to make it an annual event! The 2015 concert was near Gloucester, and this year’s is at Kencot in Oxfordshire.<\/p>\n Each concert is built around that very fine recorder player Helen Hooker, who is accompanied on the spinet by the excellent Rosemary Robinson in music by some of the giants of the recorder repertoire. Helen and Rosemary are also joined by the Helenettes Recorder Ensemble in a wide selection of music for recorder ensemble, including a concerto for bass recorder by Steve Marshall.<\/p>\n Tickets are \u00a310. You can pay on the door, but St George’s is not a large venue, and so you may to prefer to buy tickets in advance. You can send a cheque for \u00a310 per ticket to Ann (and payable to Ann) or pay online – see below.
