Recorder Playing Day (Redbourn)

Redbourn is only a mile from the M1, and 6 miles from the M25. It is hence convenient for a huge number of recorder players!


Helen is quite simply one of the UK’s best-respected and best-liked conductors. She is Musical Director of the Thames Valley Recorder Orchestra and Assistant Musical Director of the Hampshire Recorder Sinfonia. Helen also conducts on several recorder orchestra courses.

The day is aimed at players of moderate playing standard.

Refreshments served from 10:00am, playing begins at 10:30am

Attendance costs £12, including tea, coffee and biscuits. All music is provided, and there is parking on the High St (free on Sundays). All you need is a packed lunch, your recorders and a music stand.
